Thy Kingdom Come’ is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension (9th May) and Pentecost (19th May) for more people to come to know Jesus
Every person, household and church are encouraged to pray during these 11 days in their own way.
It is our hope and prayer that those who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus, will hear it for themselves and respond and follow Him.

Whether you have joined in ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ before or not we invite you take part and join in. Here, at St Mark’s we have a number of ways you can participate.
Books
There are two books to use during the 11 days from Ascension to Pentecost. We have plenty of copies of the Novena and Prayer Journal – do pick up a free copy and maybe an extra copy or two and pray with a friend or colleague.
If you prefer ‘apps’ to books – there is an app available to download onto your phone or tablet. Search for Thy Kingdom Come in your app store and look for the TKC logo (see header above).
Prayer Room
We are creating a prayer room in the chapel – this will be open all day on Wednesday 15th May from 10.00am to 7.00pm. The prayer room will be set up until Sunday 19th and available on Sunday 19th during lunch after the service.
Prayer Meeting
Wednesday 15th May 7.30pm to 8.30pm – in the small hall. Georgia will be leading a short service.
24/7 Prayer
We are going to try to fill 168 hours with prayer from midday on Sunday 12th May to midday on Sunday 19th May. We may not manage to cover all 168 hours, but wouldn’t it be amazing if we could do at least 84 hours?
You can sign up to pray anywhere – at home, in the prayer room (Wed 15th 10.00am to 7.00pm), sitting in the park, on a train journey, or on a prayer walk around your community or our parish – wherever you can dedicate an hour to prayer during that week.
